Where your training can take you
Two regions. Each trained to its own standard.
Your training always happens here, on our campus in Sylhet — but it is never one course for every country. Candidates for the United Kingdom train to UK regulations and site safety practice, in English. Candidates for Japan train to Japanese vocational training standards and health and safety practice, in Japanese.
Starting with the United Kingdom. Two programmes — Construction and HVAC — for engineering and technical graduates, taught to a UK standard with the English a British workplace demands.

An assessment in person at our Sylhet campus.
We look at your language, your practical aptitude and how you take guidance — and explain the programme to you and your family, in writing.
You move onto campus
You live here for the length of your training.
Accommodation, meals and a structured day, on the same site as the workshops.
You learn the work
Hands-on every day, with the time and support to get it right.
Your instructors guide your work as you go, and always tell you where you stand.
You learn the language and the rules
English or Japanese for the workplace, safety, and how the work is actually run where you are going.
Taught alongside the skill from week one, because at work they arrive together.
You finish ready to be tested
You sit what your route requires: a UK Level 2 qualification, or Japan's official language and skills tests.
We prepare you for every one of them, and support you with the steps that follow. Support — never a guarantee.
What comes after training is support, not a guarantee. BTI does not promise a job, an employer or a visa — and we would always rather be honest with you than raise hopes we cannot answer for.
Inside the programme
You live on campus. You work with your hands every day.
Residential, in Sylhet
A built and operating campus with accommodation, meals and workshops on the same site. You are not commuting across the city from a rented room.
The training day
An early start, most of the day hands-on, evenings on language and workplace conduct. Structured, demanding, and the same every day on purpose.

The institute

Every programme ends in an independent test: a UK Level 2 qualification, or Japan's official language and skills tests, sat in Dhaka.

A residential campus with staff on site. Attendance and progress are recorded, and we are always glad to share them with you.
Fed and housed on campus
Accommodation and meals are part of the programme, on the same site as the workshops.
Safety is taught, not assumed
Workplace safety is part of the training from the first week, to the standard your family member will be expected to work to abroad.

Come to the campus together for the assessment. Look around, and ask us anything you like. There is no obligation that day.

Questions
The questions a sceptic asks.
Which countries can I train for?
The United Kingdom and Japan. For the UK we offer Construction and HVAC. For Japan we offer Construction, Care and Agriculture. Whichever you choose, your training happens here in Sylhet.
Do I need a degree?
For the UK programmes, yes — they are for engineering and architecture graduates and diploma holders, because that is the profile the UK route suits. For the Japan programmes, no. Japan's Specified Skilled Worker system has no educational requirement. What matters is your aptitude, your commitment to learning Japanese, and passing the official tests.
What do I finish with?
On the UK route, a Level 2 vocational qualification assessed on practical competence; we will name the awarding body as soon as that is confirmed in writing. On the Japan route, the two official tests every Specified Skilled Worker needs — the Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic) and the skills evaluation test for your field. Both are sat in Dhaka.
Does BTI guarantee me a job abroad?
No. We do not guarantee a job, an employer, a visa or any immigration outcome — we would rather be honest with you than promise something no training institute can control. What we do is prepare you to a standard employers recognise, and support you with the steps that follow.
What happens if I am not ready?
We tell you early, and often, if you are not yet on track — so nothing is a surprise at the end. Everyone is judged by the same standard.
I have never used tools, or cared for anyone professionally. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Almost nobody arrives with these skills. You are taught from the very first day, and practice is what the programme is.
