Train for the workBritain is short of.
Britain needs people who can build, and people who can install the heating systems that are replacing gas boilers in millions of homes. Two programmes, taught in Sylhet to a UK standard, for graduates ready to add a practical trade to their education.

Two programmes
Choose the work. We prepare you for it.

Construction
Bricklaying from Foundation through to Level 2, on real walls in our Sylhet workshop and yard. For civil engineering and architecture graduates and diploma holders.
The Construction programme →HVAC
Wet heating and heat pump installation, taught on the kind of systems British homes are moving to — with hundreds of hours of real pipework. For engineering graduates and experienced plumbers.
The HVAC programme →How assessment works →
A one-day English assessment, then a fourteen-day residential aptitude test by invitation.
Why the UK, why now
Britain is short of skilled hands.
Not short of degrees. Short of people who can build and install. This work cannot be moved offshore and it cannot be automated.
An ageing trade workforce
A large share of Britain's tradespeople are close to retirement, and fewer young people are replacing them.
A national housebuilding programme
Housing targets that cannot be met without more bricklayers, plumbers and electricians on site.
Heat pumps and retrofit
Britain is replacing gas boilers with heat pumps and upgrading millions of existing homes. That is decades of skilled installation work, and not enough installers to do it.
UK employers value proven, practical competence. With your education and the right training behind you, that is a strength you can build on.
Questions about the UK route
Asked, and answered plainly.
Why would an engineer train in a trade?
Because in UK construction and building services the trade is the way in, not the ceiling. Supervisors and managers there routinely came up through the trades — so you would arrive with the practical skill and the engineering education together. It is a fair question, and we are glad to answer it properly.
Why does Europe start with the United Kingdom?
Because it is where our preparation is complete: the qualification standard, the English, and the way British work is actually run.
How good does my English need to be?
Good enough to start learning in. We assess it first, and teach it every day of the programme — because on a British site, and for the UK visa, English is the gate that stops most people.
Does BTI guarantee me a job in the UK?
No. We do not guarantee a job, an employer, a visa or any immigration outcome — we would rather be honest with you than promise something no training institute can control. What we do is prepare you to a standard UK employers recognise, and support you with the steps that follow.
